A star time is an astronomic time counting where the day and the night duration is equal to the period of the Earth rotation around its axis relatively to the system of stable stars. 24 star hours are equal to 23 hours 56 min. 4,091 sec. of the medium solar time. A star time at the given moment is equal to the hour angle of the vernal equinox point in the place of  observation.
