Galaxy (from Greek galaktikos - milk) is a star system
(spiral galaxy) to which the Sun belongs. The galaxy contains not less than 10^11 stars (the whole mass 10^11 of the Sun mass), interstellar substance (gas and dust) the space beams, magnetic fields, irradiation (photones). The majority of stars have a form of a lens with a diameter of about 30 thousand p.k. concentrating to the plane of symmetry of this volume. The smaller part of the stars fills the spherical volume with a radius about 15 thousand p.k. (Ex. Spherical sub system of Galaxy). The Sun is near the galaxy plane in the distance about 10th terrestrial observer all the stars, concentrating in the galaxy plane, amalgamate into visible picture of Milk Way.
